Hiking pleasure at 2,000 meters above sea level - from Patscherkofel over the Stone Pine Path to Tulfes.
Famous, popular, much frequented and still an uplifting experience every time! The Stone Pine Path above Innsbruck runs from the Patscherkofel mountain station to the Tulfeinalm (Tulfes). The best season for this hike is between June and October, the alpine roses bloom between the end of June and the end of July (depending on the weather).
The bus takes you from Tulfes to the valley station of the Patscherkofel cable car in Igls and the cable car takes you comfortably up to 1,964 meters. Above the "Schutzhaus Patscherkofel" not only the path towards the east begins, but also the "Naturlehrpfad Patscherkofel" of the Alpine Club.
The highest botanical show garden in Europe invites to "education on the spot" with more than 400 different high alpine mountain plants.
The Stone Pine Path leads to the somewhat hidden Boscheben Hütte on a wide climb or path. The path ascends and descends slightly, but without any significant change in altitude along the timberline at an altitude of over 2,000 m to the Tulfeinalm. Throughout the hike, you look down on the Inn Valley and enjoy the breathtaking backdrop of the Karwendel mountain range opposite.
Height difference: about 200 m in the ascent, about 100 m in the descent.
